Apple USES plant growth regulator - like technology

1. Principles of use

The plant growth regulators used in apple production mainly include gibberellins, cytokinins and substances that slow growth and promote flower formation. Limited use of plant growth regulators that have significant effects on improving tree crown structure and fruit quality and yield is permitted, and use of plant growth regulators that cause environmental pollution and harm to human health is prohibited.


2. Permitted plant growth regulators and technical requirements

(1) The main types are benzylidene adenine, 6-benzylidene adenine, gibberellin, ethrel, and aizhuangin.

(2) Technical requirements: strictly in accordance with the specified concentration, period of use, use at most once a year, safety interval of more than 20d.

(3) Plant growth regulators prohibited

Naphthoacetic acid, 2, 4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2, 4-D), etc.
