Application:

It's a Inhibits plant growth regulator, it can inhibit the biosynthesis of gibberellic acid.

when Mepiquat chloride Used on cotton can reduce vegetative growth and to advance maturation of the bolls; it also can inhibit sprouting in onions, garlic and leeks. 

when Mepiquat chloride Used in combination with ethephon to prevent lodging (by shortening the stem and strengthening the stem wall) in cereals, grass seed crops, and flax.

The mepiquat chloride will begin effect in 3-5 days after used it, and it can keep the effect in 15 to 25 days (this is decided by the application amount, the rainfall, sensitivity of crop, and the way crop is growing etc.).
