Insecticide use method and principle

- Aug 24, 2021-

There are many types of agricultural chemicals. We all know that agricultural chemicals are used in agricultural operations. Pesticides are a relatively common one. Do you know how to use pesticides and pesticides? Let's take a brief look at how to use it, right?

The common methods of using pesticides and fungicides mainly include field spraying, soil disinfection, and seedling disinfection.

(1) Field spraying

It is necessary to fully understand the law of occurrence and development of the disease, make the correct diagnosis of the disease type, and prescribe the right medicine. When spraying, we must first pay attention to the type and concentration of the agent, and secondly, pay attention to the period of use and the number of uses.

(2) Seedling disinfection

There are mainly two ways of soaking and dressing.

(3) Soil disinfection

Soil disinfection must first select an appropriate fungicide according to the type of disease, and then select an appropriate soil treatment method according to the physical and chemical properties of the agent and the soil structure and properties.

In our lives, insecticides are a relatively common medicament, and their use in agricultural operations is relatively high, which can remove many pests. So when we use it, what principles should we follow?

1. Treat symptomatically

The specificity and good selectivity of biological insecticides determine that their insecticide type and host range are more specific. Insecticides made from insect pathogenic microorganisms such as Bacillus thuringiensis and insect viruses can not only prevent and control lepidopteran pests such as cotton bollworm, cabbage caterpillar, and heartworm. It can also prevent pests such as weevils and Liriomyza Sativa. Therefore, when using biological insecticides, they should be selected according to the types of pests.

2. Proper control

The insecticidal mechanism of biological insecticides is different from that of chemical pesticides. Generally, they can only play a role after infecting parasitism, accumulating and reproducing, and taking effect on stomach poisoning. When applying, it is necessary to grasp the egg hatching period or the young larvae to apply for the medicine. Not only can the medicine be soaked into the egg or attached to the eggshell, and the larva will die when it hatches, and it can also ensure that the pest will die after eating.

3. Scientific application

Biological insecticides are mostly "active", and the application environment and scientific use methods are the keys to their good control effect. For example, when applying Bacillus thuringiensis, insect virus, and other pathogenic microbial insecticides, it is generally advisable to choose to apply the pesticide in the evening in warm and humid weather or on cloudy days, and it is strictly prohibited to use it with fungicides and alkaline pesticides at the same time or in combination. Insecticides for plant extracts should not be stored for a long time and should be prepared for immediate use, so as not to reduce the efficacy.
